LOESCH ROAD GRAVEL ROAD UPGRADE PROJECT TO BEGIN
Construction work to upgrade Loesch Road will begin on Monday, June 26th, weather permitting. Mera Excavating, LLC was awarded the $1.6 Million project by the County Commission in March. Loesch Road will be closed from the Moreau River Bridge to Zion Road as the contractor performs grading work and asphalt paving. The motoring public is asked to avoid these areas and use alternate routes for the next several months while crews are working.
The project is scheduled to last through the summer and fall with a completion date in November, 2023.
The Public Works department understands there will be inconveniences due to this project and we are being proactive in dealing with potential issues up front. We are excited about the long term benefits of this project and appreciate the public’s cooperation in this matter.
