Millens was found guilty of second degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm. At a sentencing hearing today, Circuit Judge Daniel Green sentenced Millens to life imprisonment for murder, ten years for armed criminal action, and ten years for unlawful possession of a firearm, with all sentences to run consecutively.
The case was prosecuted by Cole County Prosecutor Locke Thompson and assistant prosecutors Scott Fox and Amanda Landrum. Outreach to the family of Davis was provided by Victim Advocate Brysen Russell. Diligent policing at the Jefferson City Police Department allowed justice to be done.
