The Cole County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for a full time Data Entry Specialist. This is a dayshift position, Monday through Friday. Must also meet the following criteria: be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to type 40 wpm, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, able to work well with others or alone, and pass a background check. This position works with civil documents, the courts and answers incoming calls along with many other tasks. Here at Cole County Sheriff’s Office we have a safe work environment. The Cole County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for a full time Support Services Operator for the 3pm-11pm shift. Must be able to do shift work and an occasional weekend. Must also meet the following criteria: be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to type 40 wpm, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, able to work well with others or alone, and pass a background check. MULES certification is preferred but not necessary. This position works with Warrants, Sex Offender Registry, Conceal Carry and answers incoming calls along with many other tasks.
