NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Cole County Commission
Chamber; Room 200, Cole County Courthouse Annex, 311 East High Street, Jefferson
City, Missouri, 65101, until 9:00 A.M., Friday, July 22, 2022. The bids will be opened
and read aloud at that time.
The proposed work consists of site demolition; grading; excavating; reinforced concrete retaining walls; concrete steps, sidewalks, and paving; asphalt paving; storm water drainage; seeding and mulching; and other miscellaneous work for the project referred to as:
CARNEGIE BUILDING SITE IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 2022-23
All equipment, material, and workmanship must be in accordance with the plans,
specifications, and contract documents on file with the Director of Cole County Public Works, 5055 Monticello Road, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109.
Plans and specifications may be viewed and downloaded online in the bids section at www.colecounty.org. A hard copy of the specifications will not be provided but a hard copy of the plans will be provided upon request in advance.
All contractors wishing to bid on this project shall submit the plan holder contact information form found in the specifications to prior to the bid opening.
All wages paid for work under this contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri, Section 290.210 through 290.340, RSMo. 1986.
A certified check on a solvent bank or a bid bond by a satisfactory surety in an amount to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each proposal.
A one-year Performance and Guarantee Bond is required.
The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein to determine which is the lowest and best bid and to approve the bond.
