Born at St. Mary’s Hospital and raised in Osage County. I attended elementary and high school in Linn and graduated from the University of Mo-Columbia with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. I have spent the majority of my career as an owner/member of a mid-Missouri CPA firm and continue to hold an active permit to practice. I served a six enlistment in the US Army Reserve and have served in a number of MO state government positions including Deputy State Auditor, Individual Income Tax Bureau Manager with the MO Department of Revenue and Legislative Director with the MO Department of Economic Development.
My wife, Mary Kay and I have three adult children who were born and raised in Cole County. We also have four grandsons. I’ve been active in the Cole County community including serving as president of the Jefferson City Host Lions Club, chairman of the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce, president of the Helias Catholic High School Board, president of the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery Association and president of St. Mary’s Health Center Foundation Board. I currently serve as treasurer of The Safety Net of Missouri.
I’m honored to serve as the Western District Commissioner of Cole County and look forward in working for the improvement in the quality of life of Cole County citizens.
